Vermina

I designed this character for my partner and co-player in a TRPG.
She is a magical warrior with a curse which she struggles against in her daily life, but tries to be at peace with the fact that her body is a home to countless insects. She doesn't blame other people for their disgusted and terrified reactions. Ultimately, she understands this and believes she can overcome the stigma and win others over someday with her genuine kindness and desire to help others no matter what.

For her armor, I drew inspiration from insects, mainly wasp and praying mantis, as well as dragonfliy wings for the transparent plates. The colours come from wasps as well, but I replaced black with purple to add visual interest.
