Growing stronger

I plan to do a series of artworks combining a few Baldur's Gate 3 characters and flowers to practice my watercolour techniques and paint some of my favourite characters at the same time. Here are the first two: Karlach Cliffgate and Gale Dekarios.

These were done with watercolours and white acrylic for highlights.

Karlach at her gentlest: blue flames glowing warmly through her skin.
The plant is Echeveria, a succulent that some call a stone rose.

Hellebore seemed a right fit for Gale: mysterious and regal, with ties to myth and ancient medicine, witches — supposedly granting flight and invisibility. They are quite unsuitable for consumption, too.
